Frequently asked questions
What are the check-in and check-out times?

How many guests can stay?
The house sleeps up to 4 guests across two bedrooms: a king bed in the master and a double bed in the second bedroom. Infants are welcome in addition.
Is Nelson Bridge House pet-friendly?
Yes! Well-behaved pets are welcome. There's a private backyard, and the garage is available for bikes and gear. Please include your pet when you book.
Is there parking?
Free on-street parking is available right outside. The driveway is fine for unloading, but please don't leave a car parked there. The garage is available for bicycles and storage.

About a 10-minute walk to Trafalgar Street and the heart of Nelson's CBD, and 5–6 minutes to Queens Gardens, the Suter Art Gallery and the Centre of New Zealand walk.
Is it suitable for working remotely?
Very. There's a dedicated workspace with a desk and fibre Wi-Fi tested at 367 Mbps — fast enough for video calls and big uploads. Long stays are welcome, and there's a washer and dryer.
Is the house warm in winter?
Yes. It's double-glazed with a heat pump/air conditioner in the living area, heaters in the bedrooms, and underfloor heating in the bathroom.
Why should I book direct rather than on Airbnb or Booking.com?
Booking direct means no platform guest fees, so you get our best available rate. Availability is synced live with Airbnb and Booking.com, payment is handled securely by Stripe, and you deal directly with us.
Are parties or events allowed?
No. It's a quiet residential street, so we have no parties or events, no smoking or vaping, and quiet hours from 10 pm to 7 am. Daytime visitors are welcome (up to 4 extra) until 10 pm. See our house rules.
